No..... you definately can't rush perfection, haha! I'll probably have to wait to put the subs in until May 25th (Last day of finals)!!!! It sucks! But I figure, my future depends more on my grades not the subs in my truck!

Thanks for the good luck man.......I'm gonna need it for math today! [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Alright.... So here is an update! I am going to put the stuff in on THURSDAY! That is if everything goes alright..... I have a half day at school, so I will be home at 11:30, and that is when I am planning on doing it! It is torture to see the amps, subs, and all of the wiring just sitting on the floor in my room!!! I AM SOOO EXCITED TO GET THIS STUFF INSTALLED!!!

P.S- When I went and picked up my amp wiring kit.... IT WAS SOOOOO HEAVY!!! I can't believe how heavy the wires were!

Haha [sm=lol.gif]

I had to go pick up the box at the post office, and when the lady picked it up she nearly fell over (she's a short older lady)!!! Obviously she wasn't expecting the little box to be that heavy! She asked me if someone sent me rocks.... I said "nope" just a few wires!

I didn't get my system installed.... I just have waaaaay to much going on with school right now to do it! So I will have a lot more time to think about and make the install perfect the first time!!!

Since I have a lot more time to think about this install, I am probably going to put a second battery next to my sub box to help give it that extra power (and also to prevent my lights from dim-ing). My questions for you guys are..... Should I match the batterys up (like if I have an Optima, or whatever, under the hood, should I use that same one to power my amps)? How do I go about wiring the two batterys together?

I can't thank you guys enough for all of the wonderful advice you guys are giving me and for answering all of my "newby" questions for me! [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Yes you should match the batteries. Even if they are both cheapy batteries, it will still work better than having one good one and one cheap one.

Hahahahaha....... Lets see, from my house to Ohio is only 3900 miles and 57.5 hours roundtrip...... That's not bad at all!!! I'll leave today at noon and be at your house in about three+ days! haha
