Doesnt really matter. If you buy 2 crappy batteries, it will still work, you arent really worried about the CCA, well, I take that back, you are... but any 2 batteries will suffice. But try and get some with a higher CCA rating as long as you can afford it. But even 2 crappy Wal-Mart batteries will work if that's all you can afford.

I was looking at autozone's website and they have the Optima red top which has 800 cca's for 194.99, then they have the Duralast Gold which has 875 cca's (most cca's of any battery they sell) for only $89.99......
Have you guys heard anyhing good or bad about the Duralast Gold?

Should work just fine. The reason the Optima is more money is because it's dry-cell, and it's deep cycle. But go with the Duralast. You can buy both batteries for the price of one of the Optimas.

Here's yet another question for you!!

Where can I mount the other battery? I think I could fit it perpendicular to the stock postition if I made a custom mounting plate for it....
I am just wondering where you would put it?

Go up to the dealership and get the factory battery tray and hardwarethat goes there. It will bolt right in.

Now..... I would love to have the viper motor, but would not like how much it would cost to get it!!! So if anyone has one laying around....You could just give it to me, because I really need to make this second battery to fit!!!

I believe the stock intake goes in front of the battery tray.
