Good for you, but its still not a good replacement for a neon. Point that your not getting is if you pull a named car/platform that is selling well(better than several other Chrysler plats) from the market and dont replace it with a like vehicle and instead put the Caliber in its place well your going to have alot of dissappointed consumers that will just switch brands altogether... and this is the one thing that will kill off Chrysler the quickest. When the consumer turns the other cheek to get what they desire because its no longer available from a manufacturer you end up with less sales, less sales equals another buyout or a sell-out which is what seems to be at this point inevitable for Chrysler. With the rumors of selling MOPAR and knowing that for the time being Chrysler is worth more apart than together. GM still wants Jeep bad and if they get their sh*t together they may be able to put up a large enough bid for it that it gets sold off. Its all about money now...

And basically if I want a compact performance car I either have to go the foriegn route or buy a Cobalt. WTF is this world coming too.
It's kinda scary that we both feel the same way on this....
