saw the same thing on msnbc.com. not a good idea for us Dodge folks, but a possible fiscal necessity.

Reuters, similar story.

Perhaps it might end up being a case of divided you fall, united you survive.

Same story on Fox business...

http://www.foxbusiness.com/story/mar...lks---reports/

I think this could be a good thing for Chrysler, more than it is for GM. GM's stock has tanked, and is all but worthless. Therefore, GM is relying on it as a hope right now to stay afloat. Chrysler could probably merge with them to leverage their size, and probably cut some of the meat out of GM while they do it.

Granted, GM people will lose their jobs if this happens, but it would keep them from going under completely. Maybe if this happens, they could make that new ugly-*** Camaro a bit prettier? LOL

Title should say "in talks", at first I was a little happy to hear it, but I dunno.

We'll see. Honestly though, look at it this way. With the world economy the way it is right now, maybe if they don't merge, they will both completely fail? I don't know... this might be a good thing for both of them. We'll see... who knows.
