All I can say is sh*t. If chrysler doesn't get their 9bil by new years they will most likey file bankruptcy then go right out of business. I'm worried about what is to come of all these bailouts, The gov't should just buy the US auto industry for the time being, until this recession stops. I know that this is a socialist idea but, think about it, give 32 billion to the auto industry for them to mange themselves or have the gov't spend less to manage them.

If you do your homework that number is so out of whack its not even funny. That number includes, my pay (27/hr not 72+ nonsense) + my benefits about 8 bucks an hour + all retirees pension + retirees health care divided by the number of current workers. Its not correct at all. Not only that its very damaging to our public image. Keith O. sets the record straight here.

Come work a day in my shoes and see if you would tell me that. If you do the math I make about 56k a year. Good grief I made 30k as a fast food manager 9 years ago. If I had stayed I would be in the high 40's by now. And for sure I work a whole lot harder now than I ever did in a restaurant! you know the funny thing is I always get told that I make too much by people that have never been inside an assy plant. Besides athletes, and high dollar execs I would never tell someone they are overpaid unless I have done their job.
