at motor trend.com, i found something about a dakota sut for 2006. has anyone else heard about this?

"2006 Dodge Dakota SUT: Model range expanded with a "sport/utility truck."

no, it means its a sport truck, with utility strength, so its stronger, more capable than mosr trucks ad its also a bit sporty

More then likely.....

A durango pickup a.k.a. Escalade/Avalanche/Hummer H2

That might preclude the cancellation of the Durango 4 door pickup, since they would be in competition.

Umm. "Sport" in "Sport Utility (Vehicle/Truck)" has very little to do with "sport" as in "sports car". SUVs that are actually good road vehicles are a relatively recent phenomenon. And they're not really any stronger than the pickup trucks they're often based on.

Personally I think the term "SUT" is absurd. It's a freaking 4-door pickup truck with a shorter, less useful box.
