No Viper for 2007!
I was just over at allpar.com and found out that the Viper is taking a vacation for 2007, and will be replaced with the new "ZC platform" for 2008!

Anybody know what ZC means? I hope they don't change the car to much. The Viper is a perfectly beautiful car.

What Dodge needs to do is make the Viper like the Saleen S7 minus the looks. That car uses a V8 and is faster then the Viper... Also Dodge better add traction control to it.

the S7 is faster than the viper because there is nothing to it..it is a full blown race car that makes a handful a year for the uber rich that can afford it. the viper is a street car, which happens to be fast....thats comparing apples and oranges...a better comparison would be the viper CC, and the S7, but i realyl dont think that dodge is at all concerned with the performance of the S7., but moreso the z06, and the new cobra.
