Charger SRT-8 That thing got a Hemi? Indeed, a 6.1L Hemi that is. The Dodge Charger SRT-8 pounds the pavement with severe power.

My best time in my '07 Magnum SRT8 is 4.80 seconds. This morning I got 4.98 seconds. Most of the time I end up in the 5.2 to 5.4 range. The key is to minimize the wheel spin... on my 4.80 run I had virtually no wheel spin at all - almost a perfect launch.

Are you in a Charger or Magnum?

4.98 is my best and it had a plenty of spin. Since then I tried with a full tank of gas and could only muster 5.20s. [:-]

Best I have seen is a 4.51 Buddy of mine has a mediumly modified SRT-8 charger dyno'd at around 415HP and 0-60 was had with meaty 285's from Nitto . In the fall he is adding performance heads and is hoping for 440HP and 0-60 of around 4.3seconds. To him its best to launch the car at 2500RPM.

I just did a 4.92 and still had to feather it pretty badly. I haven't tried brake torquing it yet. Might try that next, but I can;t imagine NOT having a traction issue doing that.

It's RIDICULOUS that we don't have limited slip back there. How retarded is that??

My best time in stock form was 4.84. After adding the Airaid intake and Predator Tuner, best time stands at 4.42

That inprovement in by almost .5second is hard to believe with just those modd's. Are you running drag radials when you did that run.

I agree - tell us about your tires! Very believable if you've got DRs or better.

I can't seem to break my old record regardless of the but dyno after the diablo tune. It's gotta be in the launch (traction).
