Sales Will be lost
I know that feeling I have my loan already appproved with nfcu ..... I went in there Friday to let them know about the delay and they were really cool and put my loan in PENDING status so that I dont have to make and payments on it or any interest until my car comes in.....which better be by Aug 8th or they might lose another customer because my husband is getting pissed... we already had to cancel out 4th of July trip and refuse to cancel our labor day trip back home to michigan.... so talk to your credit union and see if they can put it in a pending status so that you dont lose it
I've already lost my loan last month and my interest rate that was locked in because its taking longer than usual for my car to be built. Which, its still not built. Now I gotta re-apply when it arrives and hope I get the same interest rate which I probably won't because interest rates went up 2 different times since then.

Wait till Chevy releases the new Camaro. Then you'll see grown men crying and asking for thier mommy while they are trying to find one

Seems to me that they did the same thing with the Magnum. They "trickled" them out here and there and really got people hot for them, then about 3-4 months later they flood the dealers with them and they sold like wild. Meanwhile there are still people waiting for their orders, and there are Magnums lined up at the dealer waiting for homes! That's just what seemed to have happened around here.
Just my opinion, I do agree however that they didn't expect them to be SO popular. Good luck on your orders, maybe you'll be luck like me and have one pop up with everything you want (even though it was and hour and a half away)

If you go to www.dodge.com, and then build your caliber, it'll give you the option of locating one by putting in your zipcode. You should be able to find one relatively close. I searched for 18507 and there are 12 hits in Pa. More than likely if a Dodge dealer has a Caliber, they're not going to give it up to another dealer for a trade, so you might have to go into an unfamiliar dealership for your car.
I also saw a black Compass for the first time today. It is honestly an amazing looking/feeling/driving car. It was a Limited w/Autostick. Very nice car. I'm not trying to drag anyone from a Dodge heritage to a Jeep, but we're all one big happy family, right?
