I have a 92 grand caravan SE 3.3. my door ajar alarm keeps going off while I am driving. I have disconnected the driver and passenger side door sensors and it still dings leading me to believe its the sliding door or something else. any input on fixing the problem is appreciated before the dinger drives me insane.

Its the sliding door ajar switch. This was a common problem back in the early 1990's. Get a new switch and install it. To make the ajustment, just close the door.

Have you replaced the switch? If you don't know which switch is causing the issue. Unplug each one at a time and drive it and see if it beeps. That is if you have two sliding doors. Don't rule out the front door either.

I was told by dealer the switch is part of the lock on the passenger sliding door and it is around $300.00.

If you had a scanner to check body inputs and outputs while you are driving, that will show you which door is giving the problem. That is how we did it at the dealership.
