Exclamation 2003 Caravan 4cyl - no start - EVAP issue?

The van shut off at a stop sign and hasn't started since. The MIL has been on for some time, but it's codes P0440, 442, 456. I checked relays, then checked for spark out of coil - nothing. Replaced coil - nothing. Engine turns over, this is how I was able to check the coil with the old screwdriver in the plug wire to ground check. I checked power to the coil with multimeter, got just over 10V on the center pin, while the engine is being turned, Bat. shows just under 12V (outside temp is below 40F). No voltage on other 2 pins. Can someone give me the resistance for the coil and the pin functions in the connector? Also, can the EVAP malfunction cause a no start, no coil output? I also swapped around the ASD relay with the horn relay (same relay) with no success, except the horn still worked. Am checking for possible ground issues, based on other models with similar issue as seen in this forum.

the evap issue will not cause a no start, here is the coil pin out.........

IGNITION COIL (2.4L) - BLACK 3 WAY

You should have 12 volts at the asd pin. With a test light connected to the possitive terminal of the battery, touch it to the 2 driver pins and crank the engine. The test light should flash as the engine is cranked. If it doesn't light and doesn't flash, the pcm is not grounding the coil so look at the cam and crank sensors. If the light stays lit and does not flash, the driver in the pcm fried and the pcm and coil need to be replaced.

Also ck the wires going the crank sensor too. They could have melted together or shorted to the block.

Thumbs up many thanks

Thanks so much for the info. I needed a good place to start! If any of these are not the issue I'll let you know.

Off subject... do any of you have a OTC Nemisys or Genisys? If so, what do you think of them?

Genisys is a nice unit, that's what we use for our non mopar vehicles, the built in diagnostics is very helpful.

I checked 1 & 3 with test light; got nothing. It's a 2.4 so the CMP is easy. Nothing visual. I ran out of daylight to check the CKP. According to my book, it's located above the rear engine mount. Is this correct? I don't imagine there's anyway to reach it from above, is there?

OK guys... just checked the wires to the CKP. All clear. Is the test procedure for this sensor similar to the coil? What should I look for as far as voltage, resistance in the sensor, etc.?

Tizzy1... btw... I just bought a Matco ProScan Plus from ebay. It's the same as a Nemisys. Is there any info available online to give proper voltage data, etc. for troubleshooting?
