what year van, 3.8L?
did you check all your fluids, transmission fluid checked while van is idle
any codes, check engine light on
you can try to check codes too by putting the key in turning it to the accessory's(dash lights come on) then turning it off, then repeat and on the 3rd time it should display any codes in the place where the digital total mileage shows up

Do you know if you have a 3 speed transmission or a 4 speed? If you have a 3 speed trans, its common for the valves in the governor body to stick. Not allowing the transmission to up or down shift. This will not cause the ck engine lite to come on. If you have a 4 speed, then you need to have the stored codes pull out of the TCM.

2000 3.0 caravans only came with the 41te overdrive trans. her van is definitely in limp in, however without some information from the transmission computer, it would be a best guess as the the problem. I think it could be the input speed sensor, or computer, or wiring problem, or bad relay, or failed solenoid pack, or an internal transmission failure

yep, I'm absolutely sure. minivans from 1989-1995 a 3.0 could have had either 604/41TE or 670/31TH. in 1996 and 1997 the 3.0 was only available with 31TH. in 1998 the 3.0's could come with either trans, in 1999-2000 the 3.0 was only the 41TE. and in 2001 there was no more 3.0's!
So the OP 2000 3.0 minivan could only be the overdrive transmission.
