Default 2010 4.0L grand caravan still stalling...

Hi folks, i wanted to find out if anyone else is having this same issue or not?? Our 2010 caravan has now stalled 3 times on my wife at different periods. I took it to the dealer and due to no throwing any codes they can not diagnose it. they claim they have checked everything they can think of with no result. They could only say if it happens more to let them know. I am concerned especially when 1 time it stalled while driving it. thanks for any suggestions or ideas.

Our 4.0 has had a rough idle from day 1. Did yours? A few have complained on here but to no avail from dealer or Chrysler. Basically if we get no CEL we are SOL(__ out of luck). I can't figure why they can't scan the vehicle and see if we are running too lean/rich , fuel pump not working well , or is it that damn fuel decel shutoff screwing things up. So many things can be causing this but without proper diagnostics being done it's a wait and see. I am concerned though that if yours is stalling a code should be thrown. Another thing might be happening that just came to mind.....what if you hit a bump or whatever and it happens to jar your ignition to turn off , they don't lock into postion like the old keys.?

Here is something the dealer can do,and i don't know they will. The dealer can hook up the witech to your van as a co-pilot. As soon as the problem happens it will record it.

They probably won't as the dealers seem to be so focused on the no CEL

another question came to mind, with the new style keys, if you have to many other keys on the same ring and like the person above mentioned if you hit a bump or even bump the key slightly and it puls out some will the engine shut down or keep running??

Sorry to here of your dilemma but Dodge and Chrysler know of this safety problem and to date seem to be ignoring a very dangerous situation with many of their vehicles stalling without warning at any speed, time or place. The common denominator is the new square electronic key.

Please visit the following DOT site and formally register your complaint. The links is http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ivoq/index.cfm

Prior to registering your complaint conduct a search for Dodge and Chrysler 2010 vehicles with the Defect Component being either Unknown of Electrical and you will be shocked to see the hundreds of complaint registered with the DOT. The link for the search is http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/complaints/

Why these cars have not been recalled or a fix offered is beyond comprehension and simply criminal
