Well just to let everyone kno i brought that van to the dealer and they told me it was the tcm (transmission control module) or it is either the pcm (powertrain control module) but to start at the tcm first and go from there. im getting the tcm in the middle of next week and will be installing it shortly after. Will lyk if this fixes the problem. I sure hope it does

This sounds like BS...did they inspect the wiring? How did they come about it? That is odd that a tcm, or ecm would just lack communications without any other issues..What is common is wiring issues causing this.... As far as i see whoever inspected it is guessing..

Well i kno its been awhile since i was last on here but i just wanted to do a follow up. the dealership must have known what they were talking about. i did in-fact replace the tcm and got the obd2 to read. The van is inspected and ready to go!
