The check engine light had been on for a while before it died It didnt run like this before it died. When it first died she said it just stlled out at a red light, then started right back up?Running it outta gas so many times? The fuel pump no working correctly?
I switched around the wires, and i still got the same codes.I also pulled the plugs and they're dry and look very very old,and kinda look like they have been carbon fouled or something. They just look really old.Anyway,i cleaned them and gapped them (they were WAYYY off)and tossed them back in.Its still doing the same thing. No power, chugging when in gear, and a blinking check enginge light.I guess new plugs are next.Anybody know what to do next???? Thanks again!!!!!
***UPDATE** So, i just got the new plugs in,and theres no change. The engine lights still flashing, and im still getting an 0304 code.I switched the wires around, but it still giving the same code. The exhaust kinda smells like rotten eggs,im not sure though but,it just smells strange. What should i do next??
So i replaced the plugs, and now the check engine light is off,but it's still running like poo.It has a little more power, and isnt chugging as badly as it was.Do you think its safe to drive to a shop??
