Yes, the output sensor could fail and not give you a code. But so could the input sensor too. You could try replacing both sensors and see if that fix the problem. And there has been a small problem with the output sensor connector too. But the wire in most cases, break inside the connector.

The output connector has been the most problem. I haven't seen or had a problem with the input sensor connector.

 

i have to sensors to put in on friday we will see what happens from what i under stand could also be a problem inside the trans making the solnoid pack freak out as well hope not.
