Default RE: Its going into production this summer ,07 Challenger

First off my buddy of 20 years who is the sales manager at our small town Dodge dealershipI dropped off Cash money today and the list has begun. He called me later today to tell me there is already 4 people below him that also saw the car at Detriots auto show.
LOL.......

Im 20 miles from Detroit getting this car will be easy ,just alot of cash is all.

Via several articles I have read is going into production mid 2006.He(my Buddy) stated the same and DC is pushing this car hard to get the mustang buyer out from under Ford.
The cars will hit the lots in small #s in early 07 and then in 08 the actual launch will occur.
They did the same thing with the Magnum.

The Challenger will be built on the same production line as the charger and magnum they are retooling as I type this email .

Chicago tribune inside sources reported this info months ago and they have been dead on on every movement of this car to date .
Chip /Jeff its all relative to the fact the car is going into production and the guy who headed the team went to school with Foose.
Its gotta suck for all those guys who sunk money into cars they settled for when something like this comes along.
So ,typical today i see guys with more into some Honda than I do in a c5 vette.Makes no sense other than they must have had a visa card with a big limit and couldnt afford the real deal .So build it from crap ,lol.

I work at a vender for DC so I get a great discount to boot. Not to mention if i finace Ill get 0% due to good credit.
I have seen much info and development go into this line for dodge .

Oh by the way we drove american steel back in the 70s with wings and big tires not Jap crap is all .Most of our add ons actually worked and wasnt some stick on crap like today all flash no cash.
Had to be there to know .. Shoe fits wear it doubt what you wish Like I care .

I too work for a vendor and they don't offer discounts for vehicles like this. Not when they first launch them. They don't give the vendor discount for Chargers or the neon srt4 either.

a herse? he drives a REAL hemi car...

and he can also spell. if youre actually old enough to have driven muscle cars in the 70s, youre the oldest person whom i have ever heard use the phrase "player hater" and "cash money"...so calm down, homie.

my girlfriend has a relative who is the top seller at a dodge dealership, and has told us that we can get a discount through the relative should we buy a new DCX product..so i hear you on the discount...even if i can avoid dealer markup, ill be happy.

I don't see the Ford Mustang owners converting to this. Maybe the guys who buy the higher end, but all the others buy the stang also because of price. If they are only going to offer the 6.1 ltr, I don't see it going for less than $35,000. Maybe $32,000.

tech, as you know, i am a regular at MF, and its amazing how many guys and girls are saying things like "if it only costs 28-30 grand, ill be trading the stang"...

I am a modded C5 Corvette owner right now. Looking at the new Z06. But I am really wanting a
muscle car more than a 60K vette. The mustang is too feminine for my taste. The last Camaro/
Firebird styling was just too bloated and smooth looking. But this car steals the show.
WOW. Almost like Dodge read my mind. I have always been fond of the Cuda/Challenger
design. Have always wondered why Dodge never brought it back. This is retro done right!!!!
