Charger all the way. I can get faster with mods, the GTO is still ugly and you can't change that.

 

you can get faster with mods? do you mean to say that with after market modifications your charger has more potential than the GTO? SLP already makes more parts for the GTO than will ever be offered, aside from one-offs, for the charger.

 

Yes, I can get faster with mods, but I didn't mean to imply that I could get faster than the GTO if moded because then it comes down to who has the most money. The main point is I think the GTO is ugly and thats hard to mod.

Well I guess that statement doesn't fit these days, with all the make up and plastic surgeries; Have you seen the infomercials some of that stuff should be consider bait and switch or false advertising. You go on a date with one thing and wake up with something else. Of course that could be said of a lot of products.

No actually back in Feb my wife traded the Mag for a 50th anniversary cashmere T-Bird (nice car). The Mag sat on the lot and they dropped the price over $4000 from what they gave us for it, so I went back to get it (cause I missed it so) and we made a deal but no signing as I went home to check my finances and before I could get back (less than a hour) they sold it to someone else, it sat on the lot for almost 4 months and nothing. Wife and I were so PO'd that we went to the Dodge dealership to buy another one and seen the Charger and wife fell for it hard so we bought it. I've had a grin ever since.

Because I’m so pissed at the way my 05' Magnum "Autostick" works, I went to the Pontiac dealer for a test drive.
The GTO is not worth the $33900 they are asking. I guess that's why the employee pricing is available. That brings it down to $30900.

I had a 2002 Camaro Z28 and that's what the GTO felt like. The only difference is GM added more padding. If I had not looked at the brochure I wouldn't have know it had independent rear suspension.
The car is tiny. The only thing the truck is good for is for a speaker box for stereo upgrade,(which it needs to cover the road noise). You can't lay a suitcase down in the trunk, the salesman told me this. Forget about golf clubs.
They offered $26000 for my magnum on trade-in. No thanks

All that being said, it is one fast mother.
If gm took all the "upgrades" they made to the interior and cut the price to $28000, this would sell like hot cakes.
