I could be wrong but I believe ballast resistors are only required with points. Electronic ignitions don't usually require them ??
That is what I thought also....but this has one wired in to the system.

Yes, mine has a "brain box" mounted under the dash board.

Probably a good idea. I will take some photos of the system tomorrow and post em up.
Let's not over think this. Judging by the condition of the car, it was in a collection. (I wish I had THAT collection.) It's possible something simple like a removed fuse to keep it from being stolen is the culprit. Get a volt/ohm meter or even a simple test light and see if power is getting to the ignition. It may be something as simple as a removed fuse or kill switch or a gnawed wire from rodents. Start at the battery and go to the fuse block, ignition switch and anywhere else in the primary ignition circuit.
Well, I have done everything I know to do, but still no spark. Im convinced that the MSD box is shot. I decided to replace the entire ignition system. The new electronic system includes the wire harness, control box, ballast resistor, and distributor with rotor and cap. Should have it by the end of the week.

Are you getting another MSD system or a Mopar Performance kit? Replacing the whole system will give you a balanced system rather than trying to match parts to work together. Make sure you have a reliable power suplly with the key on.

It's a complete Mopar Performance kit. I am replacing the entire system.
I pretty much posted pics in the beginning of this thread. Im replacing the entire ignition system, so no need for pics of that....but.....here's a couple pics of the interior that I didn't post yet...
