I ordered a new 1986 base Daytona, 2.5 (new that year), 5-speed, in August of 1985. I owned it from October of 1985 until August of 1988. I should have kept it, because it knocked only a few thousand off the price of my next car (a leftover 1988 Honda Accord). Hey, you do dumb things when you're young, right?

In October of 1992, my Dodge dealer told me that he had a brand-new 1993 Daytona ES, loaded, with a 5-speed and 3.0 V6. It took me all of two hours from that phone call to strike a deal with him, and I traded the Accord for it.

I sold it when I bought a 1997 Stratus ES, in May of 1997. Again, I should have kept the Daytona.
So now, I'm looking for a 1991 5-speed V6, any model, and I'll restore it to brand-new condition if I can.
The thing that really bugs me is that both cars are still registered and running, according to AutoCheck and the DMVs in Ohio (1986) and South Dakota (1993). DOH!!! [:@]
