1987 Shelby Daytona with the Turbo 2, 5 speed. White car with red interior. Runs awesome and has been a blast to drive so far. Engine, turbo and transmission all rebuilt in 2001.

 

I am new to the forum after just picking up a 92 IROC Daytona 3.0 5 speed. I love it so far.

 

New here. I am the current owner of a 91 Dodge Daytona ES. Thats the one with the 4 cyl and no turbo. Doesn't matter anyways. I am trying to get my hands on a v6 Mitsubishi to replace it.

 

You may want to check vacuum lines for splits and cracks as well.

 

HI, I'm new to the forum, and I own a modified 86 C/S. I love it! Black sunroof car with black leather and all the options including digital dash. Upgraded suspension and brakes (form Mopar in the 80's). Upgraded computer module and intake. Rebuilt turbo 2 with intercooler and a few other goodies. It's putting out about 230 horses, handles like it's on rails, and I'm averaging 28 MPG (city). At $4 a gallon (premium) thats worth jumping around a bit. This is my daily driver. My other car is a 1970 Charger R/T. But it needs a full resto... Someday. Used to have a '87 pacifica turbo with T tops. Miss that car, but replaced it with the '86. The '86 is in great shape but could use a paint job.

 

'92 Daytona that I bought new; Aqua Pearl; 2.5L TBI and 5-speed; 292K miles on original engine; daily driver; rusty but runs well.


84 Daytona Turbo Z that I bought in Jan 2008 as 4th owner; Garnet Pearl; 2.2L T1 and 5-speed; 116K miles.

 

Im new to this forum im a member of TURBODODGE.COM and TURBOMOPAR.COM and i happened to find this forum when i was looking for 8:1 forged pistons for my 6g72 daytona. Its being rebuild right now for a turbo setup and megasquirt....i actually just got done removing the crank shaft and pistons.. later today the block is getting rehoned and powered washed...it been a long day..
