I just logged onto the site on my phone and got Dodge Forum Mobile. What is it and how do I get rid of it? I can't see any pictures on it, can't do quotes and my sig doesn't appear when I make a post. Someone please help me.

so where are you having the problem? on your laptop, or on your phone?

from my wired DSL connection, things look good to me.

ts setup so that members can go through the forums on their phones...i think that its awesome...much easier to navigate on my BB.

I am having the problem on my phone. I used to get dodge forum on my phone and it was exactly the same as it is on the regular computer. I used to have on my phone all the same features as on my laptop, it looked exactly the same and had all the functionality of regular dodge forum. On dodge forum mobile is just text, no pics, no signatures, no ability to quote, nothing. Just a text list and nothing else. Is there a way to get rid of dodge forum mobile for me when I log on with my phone?

 

The issue is that phones with real browsers such as windows mobile smartphones or the iPhone are now getting a greatly reduced functionality version of the site that isn't even much easier to navigate. (Due to the way iPhone's double-tap to fit an area to screen works and the construction of the mobile site the mobile site breaks double-tap)

 

Yes, this describes it perfectly. Almost all functionality has been taken away from us on the mobile platform.

My phone as well as most other smart phones have the option to turn on a mobile view (which I never use). Now with df mobile I am always stuck with a mobile view. It was way better the old way where the end user could choose which view they wanted. Can't it be switched back to the way it was and just let people choose on their phone how they want to view the site instead of everyone being forced to use the mobile view?
