Dodge Magnum reliability
I haven't checked the individual responses, so I can't say for the Dodge in particular, but in general airbag issues are VERY common. So common that I've thought of having a repair category just for airbags!
all i know is they better get it fixed this time, i don't care if they have to replace all the sensors and wiring.. i'm sick of having to try to get off work just to take my car down to dodge and then take time off to get down there in time to pick up my car
I bought my '06 R/T from a dealer with barely 3,000 miles on it.....it was one of their "preferred customer" loaner cars.....anyway, by the time they got it washed and ready for me to take home-the airbag light had came on. I was about two blocks away from the dealer when I noticed it and had to go back. It was a Sat. and they couldn't fix it that day. I was 130 miles from home with and had to take it to my local dealer the next week. It was just a code thing, but it still pissed me off and made me wonder what I was getting in to.
I'm at almost 11,000 miles now....and the only other problem was the leaky transmission....which was a quick fix at the dealer.

The leaky transmission is, of course, a very common problem in cars with the five-speed automatic. An o-ring issue always fixed on the first shot, as I understand it.
Latest results recently posted.
The 2005 and 2006 continue to have worse than average repair rates, especially cars with the five-speed automatic (that leak-prone 0-ring).
The 2007 appears to be better than average, but I have a marginal sample size for it. Too few 2008s to even post an asterisked result.
Can use more participants for all years, but especially the 2007 and 2008.

You might want to search the forum and post a new thread if nothing turns up. I don't know if many people will see your post deep in this thread.
I can say that I don't often hear of calipers actually breaking, in any car. Rotors, though, are common for just about any car.
As for the research, additional participants always helpful.
