I have a 2005 Magnum RT. Only minor problems.

1. Windshield air vent cover cracked from the temperature changes. Replaced under Warranty
2. Key remotes stopped working. Replaced under Warranty
3. Very heavy steering when temperature is cold. Fixed under Warranty
4. Transmission leak. Fixed under Warranty.

Love the car, the milage is not as bad as I thought it would be if I baby it. Very thirsty if I have some fun.

Believe it or not, your list might be longer than the average one these days.

The primary goal of my research is to make the differences in repair rates clearer--they're smaller than most people think--by posting actual repair rates, not just colored dots.

With the Magnum, more participants would be helpful, especially for the 2007 and 2008.

has anyone else had a problem with the auto windows in their magnums? i have an 06 and once in awhile the front windows won't roll up automatically like they are suppose to. they just do it at random. i've had it fixed once, they replaced the modules but it's doing it again.. of course dodge tries to tell me i'm not doing it right.. saying i'm not hitting the second click.. idiots.. it did it right when he was trying it and then it decided to go up and he was like oh well you didn't hit the second click.. i'm gonna go back and bitch at them again. i hate dealerships

I have an '07 r/t with the Road and Track package. Love the car but have had one problem so far. At around 6Kmiles I was having a set of Blastin Bob's tips installed (by Blastin Bob himself) when he told me that the car was leaking oil, but he couldn't see from where. I took it back to the dealer where they told me it was leaking tranny fluid. I told them it was a quart low of engine oil, so I doubted their opinion. Turned out that it was leaking from the engine, from a faulty MDS sensor. The worst part wasthe replacement part was unavailable anywhere (so they said) and the Magnum sat on their lot for a month while they waited for the parts.

The Dodge Magnum is yet another piece of **** Chrysler product. Already have had several problems with mine to include the tranny leak. Looks like I bought another nightmare from Dodge. Had sooo much fun w/my 98 Ram that was built in Mexico...course nothing but crap comes out of that country....just like the trucks.

What a shame, I fell for the Dodge lie once again. They should have gone out of business in the 70's.

I should have bought the FX 35 from Infinity.

Never again will I buy another Chrysler product.

Ironically, my 73 Dodge Charger is still on the road...with the original engine and tranny.

My suggestions to Chrysler is to find another business to be in as automotive products is not their thing.

05 Magnum SXT. 98,000 miles. So far..... I was the first and the only LX in Northern California (when this happenned) to have the Torque Converter fail. It took the front pump and brain with it. Fixed with absolutely no hassle under warranty (40,000 miles). Other than that normal wear and tear items. I know the LX's don't like off brand tires, or deep pot holes.

Data are collected going forward, to prevent bias. So the very best time to join is when a car is new.

And it's just as important to know of vehicles with no repairs as those with them.

Only data submitted through the survey process can be included in the analysis.

I've had my car in Dodge about 5-6 times now, lost count.. because an air bag light keeps comming on. dodge cleared the code once then it came back. so they changed some harness or something in the steering wheel and came on again. the next few times they just cleared the code and it's going in again this week. if they don't fix it this time i'm gonna snap when i go back. anyone else have that problem with their magnum? or the auto up feature not working properly? dodge seems to keep thinking it's the auto down feature that i think it's working right and were telling me i needed to go past the second click and something about holding the switch for 5 seconds... bunch of idiots[:@]
