Mine has the same slight 'pulse'. Mine dont do it if I leave it in 4th or use the cruise control though. Its most noticable on the freeway, going up a slight grade towing a car trailer. I figure its a combination of the MDS and lockup converter. I rarely use A/C, i like open windows and sunroof.

My '06 r/t started doing the same thing around 30,000 K; hesitation at city speeds for about 2-3 seconds. The dealer kept telling me it was 4 to 8 mode, which was bull. It kept getting worse until my tranny started leaking (which is a common problem) and they replaced one of the solenoid o-rings on the passenger side of the tranny under warranty. I have 35,000 now and it dosen't hesitate at all when i hit the gas.
