Do all 2006 4X4 2500 CTD's have a female type greese hole on the front drive shaft? I jacked the front driver's tire off the ground last night and had my son turn it. I could not find the fitting. If my truck has one is it on the front or the back part of the drive shaft. I looked for it for quite a while with no luck.

Thanks, I new there was an old thread but I cound'nt find it. So it is on the transfer case end of the shaft? I still am not convinced my truck has a greasable one?

I guess we prolly need to make a tech thread with all the links in it. would also be a good thread to list the best sites to order repair, go fast, and suspension parts.

 

oops, my bad. I should have looked further down. We can fix the thread any way we see fit, both of us have access to every post.

 

I read in this post https://dodgeforum.com/m_578941/tm.htm that the grease fitting is only on 2005 & up. Does this also include the 2004.5? Since they changed engines at half year!
