Hearing you guy's day after day talk about getting anywhere from 17 on up really kinda bums me out since I'm lucky to stay in the 14's driving like Miss Daisy. The one thing you all seem to have in common is some sort of mileage enhancer, thus my new way of thinking. I'd be THRILLED to be getting 17mpg !!
See Mayfair, your problem is driving like Miss Daisy, Hoke actually did the driving ya' know.Anyway, I'm sure you'll be thrilled to know that my truck is bone stock (except for that Blue Chip injetion pump, the special X model). I get right around 18.5 mpg during these summer months (mix of highway and city), before the pump I was getting more like 17mpg. Just wanted to rub it in, since I don't really have any of those mileage enhancers you speak of.

DAMN dude you SUCK !!!!

Bone stock ?? Are you serious ?? MaybeI should go backwards then huh?

Would having my AC compressor engaged all of the time effect my mileage you think? The only reason I ask is that I never seem to hear it click on and click off.

edge will only boost power, not give you tire adjustments.
Hey Drew, perhaps the Edge EZ, or Comp are as you stated, but as with the Edge w/Attitude, I beg to differ. I had to look it up in my manual to be sure(I've had to pry my foot out of my mouth more than once before), and indeed the tire size calibration is a feature on this piticular set up. So..........................................GO FOR IT MAYFAIR !!!!!!!!! http://www.edgeproducts.com/products.php?p_cat=8
With the Edge, it ask tire size to calibrate the speedo in the attitude box...not the actual trucks speedo tho, I believe...I know that I use the speedo on my Edge because the one in the truck is off because my larger tires.

Hey Mayfair, I was wondering about your pullys. I've seen pully upgrades available in magazines, and after reading the ad, and futher thought, these pullys work with less resistance providing greater efficiency to the drive train. That thought falls in line with your idea of the ac compressor engauged all the time and creating an mileageloss.

I'm not gonna start switching pulley's hopeing to get better mileage, especially when we've got cats here like batman who seem to be getting good mileage on a stock set up. That's just CRAZY talk !!

Mayfair, you do mostly city driving, my mileage goes in the crapper as soon as I start the stop and go thing, EVEN if I drive like an old lady. I took a trip today mostly 50 - 60 mph for 60 miles. I got the overhead reading 23 mpg. Now don't get all pissed, because since I put the quad box on the over head is 3+ mpg off. Your thinking so, it's still 20 mpg. Well after I got there I took my cutomers to lunch 10 miles round trip through town (stop and go). By the time I got back from lunch I was down to 22. Then I took a diferent route home which took me through a bigger town then a 22 mile trip up the interstate at 70 MPH. When I got home I was sitting at 21.7 mpg. Point is in town driving, which you do exclusively sucks up the fuel as does high speed driving. On my vacation last week I spent a lot of time running 70+ mph, my average for the trip was 18.37 mpg, I ran 2101 miles and burned 114.33 gallons.Take a trip on state highways with out your trailer running 60 or so pretty steady and see what you get. Leave the house full, drive 100 - 150miles one way and then return and fill up at the same station and hand calc. Then compare with others.

how much time a day do you spend sitting in traffic. That hurts your fuel mileage

My dealer did it for free. Call around my dear. If Enumclaw isn't to far for you to drive I'll give you my dealers number

Mayfair, maybe you should get your wife to take it in. They might do it for free then.
