Default 75 bucks ... does that sound right ??

I just called the dealer around me and asked if they could recalibrate my speedo for my bigger tires since I REALLY wanna know just how bad my mileage really is. Even though I can figure it out on own, I'd still like it to read correctly on the speedo.

Anyway ... they want 75 bucks to do it. Is it me, or does that sound like a bit too much? Is there anywhere else that could do it for me?

Sounds like labor min. to me, I know that some programmers can recalibrate tire size and gear ratios when you install them. You may have to go to the dealer anyway as far as I know that is proprietary software for the dodge ECM.

some programmers are able to get the latest PCM updates. I know smarty and bully dog for the 2ng gens can adjust the tire ratio.

edge will only boost power, not give you tire adjustments.

Hey Drew, perhaps the Edge EZ, or Comp are as you stated, but as with the Edge w/Attitude, I beg to differ. I had to look it up in my manual to be sure(I've had to pry my foot out of my mouth more than once before), and indeed the tire size calibration is a feature on this piticular set up. So..........................................GO FOR IT MAYFAIR !!!!!!!!! http://www.edgeproducts.com/products.php?p_cat=8
