Tranny flush
When you say "flush," that usually means bringing it to a shop that uses a machine that plumbs into the cooling lines to replace the ATF, without replacing the transmission filter or even dropping the pan. It's easier and less messy for the mechanic, but many would argue that it's a bad idea. Read what Amsoil says about transmission flushes.
Now, it is a good idea to do an old-school transmission service (new filter and gasket, refill with fresh ATF) and then "flush" the torque converter and cooling lines with fresh fluid, since they hold a lot of the ATF.

to flush the entire system you will need about 5 gallons of fluid.
remove the tranny cooler line FROM the cooler and let hang into a 5 gallon bucket. crank the engine and place transmission in neutral then begin to slowly pour the new fluid down the dipstick at the same rate it is comeing from the cooler line.
when the fluid turns bright red stop engine and hook line back to tranny. top tranny off and your good.
this process is expensive since you need about 5 gallons of ATF to do it. you are just better off dumping what is in the pan, changing the filters, and adding new back.
to adjust the bands there is an adjustment outside the trans, and one inside. I am not sure of thier exact location.

around every 30K depending on use.
if you tow heavy you may get around 15-20K of service, however most of us dont tow alot so 30K is good.

i think you'd be a lot better off installing a remote filter and a drain plug in the transmission. about every 1-2 yr (or 12-24k) just drain the pan (using the handy-dandy plug) and replace the handy-dandy external filter. no muss no fuss. then occasionally drop the pan and change the internal filter. atf+4 is expensive at about $5/qt, and you'll waste a lot trying to do a flush.
FYI,
It is not a good idea to install an in line filter on a Dodge transmission as they will cause a drop in line pressure and cause more problems then they are worth. BTW, This info has been passed on to me by several re-builders who have over 25 years of working on transmissions and who have seen them used on Dodge transmissions over the years.

I should of stated change instead of flush. I need to change the oil in 2k miles so I figured I would change the tranny oil. Just figured with 31k on it, now would be a good time to change.
Drew- you said in your post to flush every 30k??? Just want to make sure.
Thanks
