Ok i bought a set of edge jammer injectors nozzels and i went to my service manuel and it said i needed two tools to remove the injectors so i went to dodge and they let me borrow the tools. so my question is how do you remove the nozzel off the injector and are their any special tools needed to do this?

(not trying to change the subject) i asked a little while ago about injectors and would it be expensive to have them put in. everyone told me its EASY to do yourself and there is a DYI on doing them and now i read you guys are saying its hard[sm=confused06.gif]
i was curious because i can shop for injectors online, but i cant for labor prices..... whats the ballpark that one would look for to get them installed??

whole sticks are not the problem. . .it is when you change nozzels you need to have the injector pop tested to make sure it is popping at the proper pressures.
3rd gens are a bit different since the injectors are electronicaly controlled, however there is the possability of shimming that may need to be done.

keep us posted on how much of a difference they make... im thinking about a set this summer.. but wanna make sure they make a diff. and is it better to buy the whole stick or just nozle... nozle is much cheaper from what i see... is there any benifit aside from easy install on going with whole stick.... i didnt tested mine, just unscrew them, there is a nut on the end so u can remove tham be carefull there is 2 pieces in it...
ill change them later to full bodied...
pop testing them can cost as much as full bodied so no saving there
but my truck run stronger whit them so so far im happy
and yeah there is a copper washer that slide on the tip of the injector DONT LOOSE THEM and when putting them back put a dab of greas to make sure they hold
else run like crap and dont start after
