I was debating what to about exhaust, either straight pipe or an Aero. Ive never heard an Aero but it seems alot of you guys have them. Would an Aero be loud enough or is close to stock?

 

Aero are awesome, more power and a killer roar! I had one on my Hemi that I used to have and loved it. In the next few weeks I am going to get 1 for the cummins as well. If you get the XL version it has a built in resonator and will not be as loud. If you get the standard version without the XL in the partnumber it should be pretty loud.

Will the 4040 fit in place of the muffler or is it a "cut and piece" job?

 

you'll need a short piece of pipe since the stock muffler is 9 feet long. lol

you dont want straight pipe. it is way too too loud.

I am running just the AERO 4040 and it is still a bit loud but isnt too bad.

 

Who's got the best deal on Aero's? I see they were $199 on the web site

The one thing I have been wondering is there a power diff between the xl and regular 4040 version?

 

Whats the pipe size on an 07? I suppose i could get my lazy @ss outside and look but figured someone would know.

 

the 07 has 4" from the turbo to the tip.
