Saved a Ford...
Went with Firemansdiesel, KerstenP & Kevin on their suspension comparison today. While at Prarie City off road park I happend to notice a yellow truck that was stuck... so I went over to see if I could lend a hand... it was about to roll. they had a bigrock tied to one the front end to help hold it in place, it was that bad. leaking gas tires in the air... ugly site. So I offered my help, gladly accepted, I pulled out my once 30' rope which is now 22' (moved a boulder with it while it was 30' and snap... after the move ) and they hooked it to one corner of the rear bumper. One of the rear tires was down in the ditch about 12~18" or so and I wasnt sure I'd be able to get it up & out. So I pulled the slack up and eased on the gas... trying to look in the rear view mirror I could see it coming out. I saw that the steering was full locked 1 way which was gong to make it roll for sure so I was slow to move it... and then it started... everyone started screeming no or something so I gunned it and flattened it out. then it was all cheers. fun in the sun for sure... the 2 guys in the pic were so happy...
there are supposedly more pics of it but I havent seen them yet, If I get them I'll be sure to post them here...

RE: Saved a Ford...
I'm with Steve on that.... My mom lives 750 miles away and if it wasn't for neighbors helping her out, I don't know what I would do. Soooo if I find an older person isin need, you know like Sharx, I help em out. My wife and I looked after an older widow next door until she passed away and then took care of the house and yard for her kids until they sold it. What comes around goes around.
