ah, the joy... the joy...
Jr just got done doing the brakes on the new Dak... came up to me afterwards and said to some effect that he is now 100% confident in doing the front brakes. He did 90% of the drivers side & 100% of the passenger side. It is awesome that he's building up the confidence. I hope you guys will do the same for your kids when the time comes. it is something they will remember throughout their lifetime.
tomorrow we yank off the front diff cover and look real close at the steering setup. seems like it's moving too much.

not sure yet, just need to pop of the cover to find out what the deal is with it. also the transfer case seems to stick in 4wd hi and not 4wd awd... not sure what the deal is yet there. anyways we have all day tomorrow to mess with it. found a guy who is parting out a 4x4 dak who should have all the parts we'd need

Nice, My father and Grandfather had a two bay shop growing up from as long as I can remmber I started by cleaning tool boxes. then putting tools away then oil changes. then spark plugs. and progressed on and on until I rebuilt my motor on my first car (1985 Chevette) I miss that car. then my grandfather died and my father could not handle the business end of it so it went out of business and I moved into the office job worlk. just recently started getting back into working on cars for fun.
