Default 3500 Pricing!!!!!!!! Good Deal????

Hey Guys,

I'm in the market for a 2007 3500, 6.7, and 6 speed, and some other options. Dodge released the new rebates in Oregon, now it's 5.5K. The dealer I'm working with offered 10.5K off MSRP on all 2500 or 3500, prior to the increase from 4K rebate to 5.5K. Should i pull the trigger? Is this a good deal, or is there better? It will be around 36K out the door on a 48K MSRP truck. Thanks for your help

If 36K includes taxes, tags, etc (which is probably around $3K alone)... yeah that's a pretty good deal.

No sales tax in Oregon? Damn Uncle Same took about $2000 in taxes for himself on mine. You are still getting $12K off list which still isn't bad. But if the dealer is taking 10.5K off the top and the rebate is 5.5K thats $16K off list. Where's the the rest of it going?

10.5 K included 4K in rebate...they just bumped it up to 5.5K (an additional 1.5K) making it 12K total. You got to love oregon, I've bought 10 cars or so, saving 1.8K to 2.8K for this truck in sales tax alone per vehicle compared to California. Plus in California tags are about $240 on this truck...yearly!

Well I say you have a fairly nice deal. $12K off list, no sales tax, resonable cost for tags. I got $10K off my 07 5.9 back in July. The dealer does have incentive to move his remaining 07's to make room for the 08's. I don't know if it would be worth working that angle or not. If you buy the 07 just make sure it has all the up to date flashes that fix alot of the emission issues.

48K MSRP - 5.5K Rebate = 42.5K....Selling Price: 36K. That is a difference of 6.5K that the dealer is taking off in dealer incentives and/or holdback. Thanks for the feedback...I thought it was a pretty good deal. I'll let the dealer know about the flashes as well.

i know I lived in California and bought a car and was shocked with the tag and the tax at the time 8.13%. I moved my butt back to Oregon!
