Default Amsoil Nano filter technology wins this test.

Put the newly aquired Amsoil 4090 air filter with prefilter on today. Took it out for a spin and had a pleasant surprise.
Unlike the AEM Dryflow filter I justreplaced with the Amsoil, it didn't pull the filter minder down under hard acceleration.
HMMMM....interesting!.?! I'll post a pic tomorrow.

Is that just a drop in filter?

I'll also be replacing my NAPA 2790 with one of these filters. . .we'll see how much of a difference there is seeing as I am also redoing the intake.

What is a Pre-Filter sock? What does it do and where does it go?
Sorry to sound stupid.

It is kind of like a condom for your air filter. real big in off roading it is a sort of nylon looking thing that you wrap around your filter (like a condom) and it catches a lot of the dirt before it gets to your filter giving you extended filter life. I used to have one on my quad and it was great.
