how would a smokie be able to see if you were burinin red diesel on the road?
They can't. The only way is to put something in the tank and take a sample.

First off I've never ran farm fuel in any of my trucks that go on the road. I know guys that do , but the savings just dont out weigh the hefty fine if caught for me.

Having said that. #2 diesel is #2 diesel I don't care what color in the rainbow it is! So let me get thisstraight it's alright for me to burn hundreds of gallons of this stuff a day in equipment costing up to 200 grand, but it will mess up the ctd. Give me a break. I don't like being treated like an idiot! If it was a trash problem it was caused by a filtration problem not a fuel problem.

I guess if you were running a non mopar fuel filter they would try and nullify your warranty because of this , right?

I don't think they can legally do this has anyone had the ***** to take them to court , maybe with a class action lawsuit?

Who is balking on the warranty ( who pays) is it Dodge or is it Cummins ?

Seems every where I look someone is being denied warranty coverage for any reason under the sun they can blame it on.

I really like my ctd Ram , but is the warranty worth any more than the paper it's written on?

I wonder if the American companies will ever realize that most hard working people want a good reliable product and good service at a reasonable price , and if that they cant provide it someone else will!

If I walked up and found someone, be it a trooper, EPA, or even god, sticking anything in my tank or even touching my truck, I would probably wind up in jail. I would damn sure give them a piece of my mind that they definatly do not want to hear!!!

Funny this topic came up. I friend asked me about red diesel new years eve and said he has friends that will fill my tank for $1 per gallon. They run some construction bussines or something.
I know it has to be stealing from thier boss or something And I wouldn't do it, but it sure is tempting.
