Would like to change to amsoil , thought i would change oil with shell rotella one more time first, is there any problem with changing to synthic with 46000 mile ?

And yes, the oil will be black almost as soon as you change it. If you start it, go around the block, come back and check it, it wil be black.
And, like mentioned above, the fuel filter will look spotty. Change it every 10K and you'll be good to go.

In each tank I usually put 16 oz of 2 stroke and 16 oz of PSD. Everybody seems to have their own mixture.
The engine is noticeably quieter, smoother idle and decreased smoke output.

RE: Drews Brew
The best fuel filter to use is a Baldwin PF 7977, its nominal at 2 microns and absolute at 5 microns) and if you cant get one then get the Fleetguard Stratapore FS19856 is nominal at 5 microns and 96% efficient at 7 microns. Don't let anyone sell you a 10 micron fuel filter ( in june of 2006 Cummins wanted all 2003 and up engines to use a 7 micron fuel filter) as some places still sell them like, Wix 33585 is nominal at 10 microns, Wix 33585XE is nominal at 7 microns, Donaldson P550785 is absolute at 10 microns. The smaller the number the better it filters. FYI, Absolute is 98.7% efficiency and nominal is 50% efficiency.
