I'm all for trying new inventions, but, a 1500 Ram suspension can't handel the lbs of a ctd, front diffs drive shaft rear diff springs, body is only item that fits.

Agreed, not trying to **** on your parade...but the the 6BT weighs 1100 pounds. The 1/2 ton frame will crack and buckle under that kind of stress. As mentioned above the front end WILL NOT hold up. Even if you can get the cummins with all the electrical (i assume we are talkin 24v common rail) its still a very expensive swap.

i think u can bcuz it's a 2500 everything is HD except ur engine, now it was ordered that way correct? It was an option a hemi instead of it being a diesel. Im tryin to do the same but my truck is a 1500 MEGA CAB so i've seen eveywhere dat my truck is a 2500 CHASIS on a 1500 name & i have compared it to a 1500 & a 2500 & it has exactly the same suspension as a 2500. Dodge did not want to build a new chasis for a mega cab so they just took the 2500 longbed & threw in a hemi & a emblem so i read & i've been told even by the dodge dealer. so its not even close to a 1500 same bigass brake drums same leafsprings & my rear end is pretty huge & i got a 4.10 like you. thanks albert.

ive read were this swap has been done ,and from what i remember it wasnt to bad except the electrical part of it.Getting sending units and such to fuction correct seems to stick in my mind as being the real pain.I think it would be alot easier if u ad a whole done truck sitting there so u could look and see what needs to be done.

theres a couple hundred dollar tuning platform for a laptop that you can buy and use on unlocked ECMs that would make it alot easier
