Default I'M back, a week of cruisin just aint enough

Anyway on to important things, NO I did not take the new Ram down, we did end up driving our VW GOLF TDI and only two stop's down and two stops back for fuel.

I did get into Wally World and find the fuel conditioner as you all had recomended $15.20 US so I got 8 gallons, enough to get us through the winter I hope ( sheeeeez do I hope winter will not be that long ).

I just order'd the new A.R.E cab level Cap and the Westin Sportsman CPS Stainless Grille Guard for the truck, ( yea I said truck , cause it DOES have roof lights ) cap, will be 2 - 3 weeks but the grill guard should be here by end of the week.
Will post more pics when I get them on.

Thanks for suggesting Wally World for the fuel antigell in the white jug whom ever did !!!

The trip was FANTASTIC , thanks for asking, we had a great time, weather was perfect the whole trip.
The best part for us, well ok there was two , the first was what they call The Dolphin Encounter ( a first for us ) where you get in the water with the dolphin's and do differant things with them from dancing to hugs and kisses, it is a great thing to experiance for sure.

The second best was in the casino on the ship, I hit the row of 7's dobles whne I played max, ( pure fluke that I played the max) and walked out of there, ion fact off the ship with that hand pay of over 2 K and 3 other hand pays, more then paid for the trip and as you can see the new cap and grill guard.

The VW performed it's usual flawless, except for loosing low beam on the drivers side on our way back from Dollywood, but besides that love the milage and the performance, it would be hard to say how it really did MPG wise as we were doing 80MPH most of the way and that is about 10-15 more then we can do up here, but no complaints about it or the ride.

A picture of the cap, well it is nothing special, just cab level and painted to match the truck( gotta get the paint code off the door for them) but here is a pic from the A.R.E website.

Yeah, that dolphin encounter thing is really catching on. The first time I ever saw it was in Hawaii a coupke of years ago, but now apparently they are putting them in everywhere. Back when I saw it in Hawaii I asked th guy if I could participate and unfortunately I couldn't. It was not only sold out, but the people had apparently booked the event a year in advance.

Glad to hear the car ran well. I still think you should have taken the Ram. LOL !!

What did you think of Dollywood? Any pics? I've never been there, but it's on my list of things to do.

Cap looks cool !! Does it get taller as it goes back, or is that just the angle that the pic was taken?

Yea, it is good to win, the wife and I have done this cruise three times before so we did not get many pictures, but I did get some of the dolphins, I will try and down load tonight and if time permits , upload them here.

Dollywood is a must doo, even if you are not into her, I doo nopt know about other times of the year as we have only been there at x-mass time, and in the night sky, with all the lights ( millions and millions of them ) it is something to see for sure.
The live show are of the best I have seen anywhere and the park is nice a clean , staff is great and friendly food is awesome,,,. you get the picture.
www.dollywood.com

and if you got you have to take in the Dixie Land Theater ( dinner show) there are some other through out the U.S, in Orlando, one of the Carolinas, and another one, but I forget where.

Nope tha cap does not get taller at the back, but I agree with you on the way it looks in that picture that I found, the one I have coming is the CH series, which is just cab level height all the way .

I will see waht I can doo on the pics tonight ( still suffering jet lag LOL )

those ships are hella big... last summer when I went to Vancouver BC for the class I took there were 2 of them docked at Canada Place. What amazed me was that once they left, I could see how much room there was for them to get in and out. both sides were very tight, one side had construction going on on the other side of the ship. I saw a model of what they were building and IIRC it was another mid to high rise building.

just to the left on the 2nd pic is where all the construction was going on...

We did Alaska last May out of Vancouver and the part the I found a tight fit was going under that bridge on the way in and out of the harbour, and there are people standing on the bridge, it looked like you could throw a tennis ball to them. We did not leave form the place in your picture, from shore we would have been to the right side near the container yards.

The first cruise ship I ever saw was in Key West. They dock there right along sunset pier. Those things are HUGE !! I thought it was cool to hear that all cruise ships MUST leave before sunset so as to not block the view for everyone else. I thought that was a pretty cool law.
