RE: pro-comp a/t
I have hard from other Pro-CompA/T owners that they are not that great. complaints I heard were they donthold their balance over the long term and need re-balancing more often than others (didnt make sense to me but thats what I've heard) I do have the Pro-Compxtreme A/T tires and love them. they grip really well and are wearing well too... I have approx 30k on mine and they look like they're good for another 15~20k easy.

2-3 mpg... but they are 13.5" wide. In my wheel/tire change thread I started a while back I mentioned I was considering going into a 17" rim with a 295 tire... narrower & taller by about 3/4 of an inch. I think that would help lessen the damage on the mileage yet still perform well.
road noise is not bad at all... I havent ever had mud terrain tires to compare by but these are more than acceptable and are worth the bux for them. I think I posteda link a while back to a vendor who had rims & tires pretty cheep... eagle alloy 102's IIRC and had toyo & pro-comp tires available. Search e-bay and you should be able to find them.

I have 33/12.50x17 AT's on my truck. I got about 47k out of my first set and they were great in the rain and in the snow and i balanced them about every 5K religiously. I am now about 8k into my second set and 2 of them do not stay balanced well at all, which gives that annoying sound we all know, but i am pleased with the traction and wear. Remember that the size i have is load range D, not E, if you haul heavy loads. However, i tow and haul pretty heavy somewhat regularly and have had no problems.

well i have my "tire guy" getting prices for the xtreme a/t 305's...i forget the rest of the numbers but converted to standard units they were like 33.2"x12.4"x17 or something. im pretty sure thats what the numbers were. my guy said they are an excellant tires in all weather conditions and they wear awesome and i asked about balencing problems and he said there is nothing to his knowlege.

you will be very happy with them... I re-balanced mine about 5k miles back and only because I think it was time for preventive maint. on the tires... If I buy them from a shop, I have them balanced anyways at every 10k. (bought these used). find out the tire size if you will, a 305 does not ring a bell for the Xtreme at's...
