Default 1991 B250 headlight issue - help!

hey guys;
I finally solved the starting issue with this van. runs nice and smooth now.

I was doing a walk around backyard pre-inspection and noticed that i have turn signal lights that work, hazard lights that work.

What i DONT have is headlights, running lights or brake lights. I know bulbs are good. I also checked all fuses in the panel that is in the glovebox on the left side under the cover. Those are all good.

I was thinking maybe the headlight switch itself since it has a ton of wires attached to the plug that connects to the headlight switch. So i got a replacement, installed it and still have nothing. So im a tad confused now.

Any suggestions as to what to look at, where to look, what to try next?

thanks
tom

sure did. looked everywhere but if its in there, 3 guys cant find it.

both books i have make mention of it, but as to the location of said fuse box/pdc is a mystery.

book also mentioned "this relay" and "that relay" but no pictures, locations mentioned. so we resorted to tracing wires in hopes of finding some fusible links or something that would be the problem or lead us to the PDC/fusebox.

thats part of the confusion. it shouldnt be that hard to locate.

its a standard B250 3/4 ton extended van with the 5.2L 318 V8 motor.

The 91 still used fusible links, there is no PDC. The fusible links can be found in the wiring harness up around the power brake booster.

would these fusible links be wrapped up inside the electrical wiring bundle thats all wrapped up in electrical tape?
I'll take a few pix of the brake booster side and post them here.

I don't know about a '91, but my '89 has all the fuses inside the glove box, and all the fusible links were behind the brake booster, wrapped in electrical tape, and apparently always wet for weeks after any rain.

found the culprit. fusible link. kinda a pain to dig out from behind the brake booster, but found it nonetheless.

appreciate the insight and assistance.

thanks
