What about the flexible brake hose at the wheel, did you also replace that?
When the rubber on the inside of these hoses start to crack, the pieces can act like a flap and create a one-way valve. The result of this is when you apply the brakes, the pressure goes in, but when you take you foot off the brake, the pressure does not release at that wheel.

That is exactly what is happening...it takes a while but after about a mile in traffic the wheel is ready to lock up and gets hotter than a pistol.
I only bled the side that was involved in the replacement parts(rt front) and the brake hose was replaced. Along with the caliper.
Now the old caliper is back on besause I did not like the look of the new one...the rubber gromet that seals the piston has a buldge in one area and sticks out. probably won't be worth much as far as sealing the unit from outside elements.

92 Dodge ram van nightmare
The problem still persisted with the old caliper back on.
Today I replaced the master cylinder and lost all breaking power. Light for braking system and for ABS system are now on and there is literally no braking power to the system.
Getting worse rather than better.
