I was changing my tire yesterday when I looked under my van, and I notice a shredded up wire, upon closer examination there are 3 wires all tore up not connected to anything. Does anyone know what these are for? Honestly the van seems to be running fine, also the CEL has been on for quite sometime, code indicated crank sensor
Does every thing work? No lights on in the dash? One would think that many damaged wires, SOME problem would be apparent..... do all the rear lights work?

as far as I can tell everything works as it should, one thing I would mention, although it might be far fetched. This van has the Mark 3 conversion package. Although everything that I can tell works, except for the speakers wired for the television.

Pics look like it is a factory harness though..... Maybe it is part of the conversion, maybe not. Unfortunately, I don't think you can even get wiring diagrams for what was added in the conversion.......
What are these damages wires?
