Just tested it, power is getting to the motor, but the motor is not doing a thing. I saw a youtube video of someone rebuilding the motor and replacing the gear inside but this thing is not even making any noise whatsoever. Is it safe to assume that I just need to bite the bullet and buy a new motor from rockauto? Thanks again for all the input. That mitchell ondemand link was great thank you!

Yeah, replace the motor.
I might put a test light across the connector pins (harness side) and work the switch, just to make sure both sides of the circuit are working properly. If you have power, but no ground, the motor won't do anything. That said though, if the motor is original, it lasted a good long time.
