Tips to discreetly run an extension cord into van?

So...... I have water problems. I have basically concluded that rain water is getting into my van from two sources (I already filled some screw holes on the roof with silicone which seems to have fixed that leak). First, I'm 90% sure that it is seeping through a seem on the passenger side rear and coming out of a gob of seem sealer at the van floor. Second, because my van is parked on a slightly sloped driveway the rain water flows from the roof back to the roof lip, then overflows and drips under the lip and down the interior of the cargo door, then it drips onto the floor. When I open the door there are water splatters all over the back floor of the van.
Anyway, so because of the water I'm now fighting mildew all over the dash and vinyl seats. I put one of those DampRid buckets in there but it doesn't seem to be helping or collecting any water. So I ordered a cheapo Amazon 2L dehumidifier. That means I need to run an extension cord into my van, but I also don't really want to make it obvious that there is something in my van that can be stolen. Not that I care about a $40 dehumidifier, but the cost to replace a broken window would be a lot more.

Well I wasn't planning on pulling the carpet though it is filthy. I was kind of hoping for some easily accessible hole in the firewall. Now that I think about it I could probably pop open the dog house and run it up through there.
I'm not sure why you think an extension cord would make someone think there is something of value. For all they know, you're running a simple heater or battery charger, or they'll likely look through the window and see not much of anything. As to a broken window, that would be covered under vandalism or theft in your insurance policy. In my policies those are always covered 100% and no deductible. Maybe you're over-thinking this?
I have liability only on my van. I guess I could make a homeowners claim but somehow I suspect that wouldn't be worth it.
Though I didn't mention it, the bigger concern is just that running the cord through a window makes it even less air tight which means I am now dehumidifying outside air too.
Whatever, I ended up just running an extension cord through one of the side windows. I don't love it but oh well.

The shoreline port can be closed when not in use and opened to run a cord through.
