DIY How to clean the IAC
Cleaned it once on my van. Had to replace it later on due to vehicle not wanting to run. Don't think it is something you are going to need to worry about cleaning frequently. Just spend an extra 15 minutes taking it out to clean when you are cleaning your throttle body.

This original thread I started with the pixs no longer works showing the pix after the forum upgrade.
I did upload this How To Clean The IAC on two other Dodge forums. One of them is the Allpar site under the forums. I can't list the other since it competes with this one.
Also, if anyone has a rusty pintle IAC, just replace it. It's not worth having the rust re-appear and stick the idle closed. You will be stranded in no time.

If you're referring to the DT site then that ones doesn't display the images either.
Probably not there anymore... so, there is unlikely to be a fix.... Considering the age of this thread, and the fact the OP hasn't been here in 8 years....... There should be other threads of this nature around as well, probably in the 2nd gen Ram Truck section, as they used the same engines.
