Is it a 2X4 or 4X4? If I am correct, the 2004 Ram 4X4 is full time 4WD and if that's the case I don't think it will work in the 4X4. If it's a 2X4 I don't see why you wouldn't be able to.

hello boys and girl(s)
a brake stand is no problem with the 4x4 as long as you can turn it off !
i ordered my hemi this way for this reason....hehe, i also ordered with no abs (is this ieven an option) for the maximum hooligan factor
basically you brake as little as possible with yr left foot while progressively applying gas with your right
the best i have found is to keep rolling just a very little, ie creeping forward, have patience the back will eventually brake free
when it does break free resist the temptation to brake harder but just keep it balanced, you can then let of the brake a little and drive away slowley even turning corners with the tire pouring smoke
i did this outside my friends diner the other day then drove off to run some errands, i came back 1/2 hour later, the fire truck AND the cops had been there
the other trick you can try is to come off an exit ramp at about 50mph and just lock the whole thing up by standing on the brakes hehe
i guess this old racer is never going to grow up
oops

If you have the 392 limited slip rear axle, you wont spin for long. Spinning the tires is neat, but it wastes time in the QMile and 0-60, hence the limited slip and posi-traction options...

HELLO, I ordered a Hurst Line Lock for my new Ram. Step on your brakes, turn on the line lock, release brakes. The rear brake are off at this point and the fronts are held on by the line lock. Stand on the gas till your rear tires are smoking then release the line lock. Brian
Another way is to install and washer pump and spray number 2 fuel oil on the your rear tires. It makes them slippery and very very smokeable. They would use a bleach solution that woujld cause the tires to start to burn. That where the Burn out comes from. Now a different solution is use to heat the tires that produces a huge smoke cloud and no flames.
