I think you are our first avid off roader!! Lifted 4x4s with a lot of black or chrome (depending on body color) piping is one of the best sites to see!!!!

I definately agree with you about the lifted 4X4 being a pleasing site to see.

Not to mention that you have to have 4wd to drive onthe majority of our roads here.

Hey there...

Just bought a bright red 99 SLT Quad Cab with 62k miles on it yesterday afternoon up at the dealership. I was looking at 2003 Dakotas then saw this beauty sitting over with the newer big boys and it called out my name. I had the sales guy get the keys for me and I hopped in and cranked it over. OH MY GOD! It sounded so awesome. Turns out the first owner strapped on some Flowmasters and it was the most wonderful sounding 318 I think I've ever heard. So... I rounded up the wife, signed the papers and drove it on home. It's absolutely mint in and out with stock and power everything. Has a great locking Pace Edwards sliding retractable waterproof bed cover and a great "cowboy style" Rhino lining job. I'm not going to do a thing to the exterior. Might change out the Goodyear rubber eventually, but, will spend most my money under the hood. I just love a sleeper, even though the exhaust music will give it away.

Glad to be here.

Got rid of my 96 F250 Extended cab 4x4 on Friday and thought I'd never get another truck as nice as that one... well, I did! AND BETTER BY FAR

Patriot1876 - CONGRATULATIONS!! Isn't great when you meet 'the one'? That's how I found my truck, I worked at the dealership and they knew I was looking for a Black or Red Ram Sport 1500 5.9, and they got her for me. Anyway, mine had a chip in it, but that's it. I've spent lots of time on the exterior, and some engine/exhaust upgrades, but I prefer the sleeper look too...
