<FONT face="Courier New, Courier, mono" color=magenta size=2>I OWN A 2003 BLACK/1500/HEMI/SPORT 4X4 QUAD. TRADED IN MY 2002 F-250 4X4 LARIAT DIESLE FOR IT. I MISS THE BIG TRUCK BUT I LIKE THE CAR LIKE RIDE IN THE NEW RAM AND THE HEMI POWER. AND DO NOT MISS PLUGGIN' IN THE BIG DEISEL. THIS IS MY FIRST DODGE VEHICLE. I REALLY LIKE IT ALTHOUGH I WILL NEVER BUY THE COLOR BLACK AGAIN NO MATTER HOW SHARP IT IS WHEN IT'S CLEAN (I USE A TRUCK FOR ALL PURPOSES AND THE SCRATCHES ARE TERRIBLE WITHIN 6 MONTHS!)AND THIS TRUCK LEAKS WHEN IT RAINS HEAVY AT THE HANDLE BAR DRIVERS SIDE TOP HOLE. SMALL FIX I'M SURE. BUT WEIRD AND WETWHEN YOUR DRIVING IN THE RAIN! I NOW ENJOY DODGE AND WHAT THEY HAVE TO OFFER NOW. I AM AWAITING THE NEW SERIES DURANGO BUT ONLY AN R/T MODEL WITH HEMI. HOPEFULLY SOON, I TRADE IN EVERY YEAR OR TWO. </FONT>

I know what you mean about paying a few employees salaries, I've had 17 cars/trucks in the last 18 years!! Only a few have been brand new but that still pays a lot of salaries.

Oh I gotta sound off about these piles of crap I have owned..</P>


I am now on my second big pile of dodge crap. First was a 2wd 200 ram 1500. All stock never beat never taken off road but the rear blew out when it was 10 miles over the warrenty so guess how much dodge wanted to fix it?? 2100 they are nuts!!! So we made a deal where we traded our 2000 ram and our 2000 neon in on a 2003 neon and a 1998 ram 4x4. Was a pretty good deal until 2 days ago when the rear blew out on the ram. Don't they know how to build a rear? The first one was a defect in manufacturing (they even told us that at the dealer that something wasn't ligned up right inside (but still wouldn't fix it)). I will never buy another dodge again and I would suggest that if any of you want a good 4x4 vehical then buy a ford or yes even a chevy would be better. Hell get a toyota you would do better.</P>

 

I'm sorry you feel that way. Ever think it might be the driver? I don't think your going to find too much sympathy here. My truck is a solid running 1994... never had a serious problem.

I hate to say welcome to someone who insults my choice of vehicles... but everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

Nope not the driver the trucks were taken care of not beat never went over 55 with em never went off road never spun the tire never nothing I am afraid of the 98 now it might leave me stranded AGAIN. I had a f 250 with a 460 in it that I beat the hell out of it for 350 000 miles and never was stranded with it. but I can't win with these dodges. Just kinda upsets me that obviously they have some kind of qc problem with there rears. Hell I drive the neon harder then these trucks. I pull with the neon not the truck . Now thats sad.

 

And the dealer never helped you out?! That's a shame as well... since you had issues before and came back to them to let them make up for it.

I've never had a problem with mine... and I'm the third (and final) owner of The Lady In Red, and she was a light work truck before I got my hands on her. Never had a problem. I've known a few people who had rear ends problems, but they did to themselves by being hard on it, or not changig the fluid in there... or messing around with it and they screwed it up themselves.

I'm sorry you have such a low opinion of what I love so much. I hope you have a better experience with Dodge someday so you'll change your mind.

Guess my next try with dodge will have to be a viper (that will take quite awhile to save for that)
