I am thinking about adding an exhaust system to my 03 HEMI Ram. I like the sound that 03 makes now, I just want a bit louder with dual tips. I had a flowmaster on my 4.7L Grand Cherokee and I loved it.

I do not want a drone.

I have 50 series flowmaster on my hemi, I love it. nice deep rumble at idle and really opens up at wot.

gibson but it's expensive. also magna flow has great mufflers with straight through performance, no chambers or anything to clug it up, but also expensive. maybe try edelbrock with their headers and stainless mufflers. or maybe even dynomax, they are cheap and good, i used to have a set of their headers on my 74 caprice and they were great. then there's the really expensive stuff like borla. but i got flowmaster super 40 deltas on my truck and i love them. will recommend to anyone.

I second the flowmaster 50 series, I have that on my Hemi and it sounds great....

 

I had the 2.5 in and 2.5 out single flowmaster and it was good, then I switched it out for a 1 in and 2 out 50 flowmaster with the duals exits and I really impressed . (3rd system ) I cant say enough about the difference between the two. I was really surprised how a 50 flowmaster could be so different.

 

I love that Gibson supertruck exhaust system, but I hear it makes it real loud in the cabin.

Anyone know why Gibson does not recommend towing with this exhaust??
Sounds really strange to me. Only thing I can think of is the noise and the heat. Since it is a very short system, the tips must get really hot wile towing.

 

I dont know about the gibson thing, but I have the 50 series with the dual supertruck style side exit. It is not really loud inside unless you are at WOT.

I just the love the sound of the 50, If I wasn't in the middle of selling my truck I was going to add a glasspack to it, this guy at my work has the 50 running single 3" with a glasspack and it sounds more than burly... it's nuts.... it blew my mind when he stepped on it.
